The lace on the side is sturdy yet soft, and wonderfully stretchy. Very few bras have fit me as well as this one, and as a 40DD, it's a difficult fit to achieve: I need uplift yet definition, wide sides, a back that won't ride up and straps comfortable enough to wear all day yet strong enough for the load. Vanity Fair Women's Side Shaping Full Coverage 2-Ply Underwire Bra #75081 does all these things and more. It does what every woman wants a sturdy bra to do: it fits snugly. it doesn't just lie there across your chest creating that "gap" between the middle of your breasts and the material, that you often get with underwires.
